What are regenerative school food systems?
Regenerative school food systems integrate principles of ecological restoration, nutrition, and food sovereignty by linking school meals to food that is grown in ways that enhance soil health, biodiversity, and farmer livelihoods. The approach goes beyond sustainability by actively rebuilding natural systems and democratising food systems engagement.
Emerging evidence enables mutual learning across regions and informs the global agenda. Together, we can:
Collaborate
Provide a platform to share latest programmatic and research developments and initiatives.
Generate evidence
Deepen the understanding of regenerative food systems through context-specific research.
Support policymaking
Elevate evidence into policy conversations through CoPPs.
